Do resorts have a policy about bringing a toaster oven to use in the room. I did a search of posts but found no recent posts about this subject. Will be there during Easter.

Unless your room is already set up for cooking like the All Stars Family Suites or the DVC villas, you are really not supposed to cook in your room.

The food courts at the resorts have microwaves available for guest use, as well as standard toasters. Otherwise, I'd plan on just having snacks that don't require cooking (unless you're staying in accommodations with a kitchen/kitchenette).

Yeah.. I'd be very surprised if this was allowed. Toasters, microwaves and the like have a very high electrical current draw. I'm not sure how they would compare to a standard hair-dryer or curling iron.. So I'm not sure whether the electrical in most values and moderates would be setup for that.

Beyond that.. with a toaster oven there is the fire hazard.

My gut says this is not allowed but I can't point to anything to confirm that.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable knowing someone had a toaster oven or any other food preparation item in a room.

I'd say not to bring it.

It is not allowed. Too much of a fire hazard. An unattended one of these could be disasterous (not that you would do that). Sorry, but you should live without it for your stay.
