Taking my mother, who must have toast for breakfast. We are planning to eat in the room and will be at POFQ. Could we get toast at the food court, take bread and use a toaster at the food court, or do we take bread and toaster and hope we aren't caught?! Please give opinions. Thanks.

Those rooms are not equipped for a toaster. Use POFQ's toaster for toasting.

You mean there are no electrical outlets in the rooms at POFQ?

take bread and make toast in the food court... cheapest, easiest and you'll be there refilling your mug anyway ;)

Use the toaster in the food court. That way you don't have to worry about a mess in the room or the smell of burnt toast.

The rules are that you are not suppose to cook in any of the rooms.
And thank goodness! I can't imagine staying next door to someone with the smell of burnt toast wafting out of the room. Nothing is worse except maybe burnt popcorn. Yuck! I can understand someone wanting to have pastry, cereal, etc in the room but a toaster?

That was very considerate of you to think to ask. They have toasters in the food court for you to use. We used them every morning.

to make sure there was an option other than bringing "it". Thank you all. And thanks DMRick for being nice and hopefully ending this thread before I get toasted for asking a question.

23 posts new, and already found a sense of humor!! LOL Hang on to that, honey, cuz you'll be needing it! :teeth:

Nah, the majority of posters are pretty tame, really. There are just a few 'hot topic' threads that will get everyone's granny panties in a wad quicker than a tight pair of jeans!

Welcome to the DIS, btw!

Wow! I had no idea they had toasters in the food court that guests can use! That's great! We plan on eating in our room too and I thought we'd need to either forego the toast or else go and pay for 4 portions of toast at the food court and bring it back (if they even sell it). Great to hear it's practically free (bar the cost of the loaf of bread which won't make or break our holiday - we're just so loose with money we might even buy two brands for choice :rotfl: )

I cease to be amazed at the variety of questions that people ask on the DIZ boards.

Great sense of humor!!!!!! We need more of that around here. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Hey welcome to the boards by the way!!!!!

Just be sure to offer to pay for the jelly and butter before using it LOL. It's really cheap. They also have a microwave you can use. Oh, and the hot tea water is perfect for oatmeal, no charge, or you can use the hot water from your coffee pot you'll find in your room (they also have irons there (hint hint):rotfl2:. The mod's sell bread in the store, which is better than paying .50 a piece in the food court.
