To Wilderness Lodge

We're heading over from the Fort and want to know a couple of things: how frequent are the buses to the Wilderness Lodge and when do they end for the night?

Ask the bus driver. Probably about every 30 minutes as they leave from the bus depot by Hoop Dee Doo. Revue. I would imagine they stop running with all the others about an hour after park close. But just a guess.

The bus is an extension of the Yellow Line. Typically they have 2 busses running each line. From the Settlement Depot, you’re looking for the Yellow line bus that’s coming from the Fort side. If it’s coming back from the Lodge, it’s going to make the loop inside first before it heads back. Typically the bus sign will change to say it’s going to Wilderness Lodge but it’s always best to ask the Yellow line bus driver at the Settlement.

As far as time to wait, just depends on when you get there. As @PaHunter said, it probably takes about 30 minutes for them to make the loop so you could get lucky and the bus be there or have a short wait. None of the times we’ve used it have we felt it was a long wait. Ride over is less than 5 minutes.

As far as hours, they typically run till all the restaurants/bars at the lodge close so it’s somewhere around 11PM usually (have had a driver tell me they’ve ran till 1AM.) Ask the driver when you get off if you think that’s not going to be late enough.
