To wait or not to wait to book?

Any advise whether or not to wait and book a Nov 9, 2013 sailing 7 day Carib on the Fantasy? Seems like it would be "off season." Been watching this cruise and prices keep shifting. Right now it's at $5100 for 2 adults, 3 children. Is this a good price? Should I wait for promotion? Do these off season cruises sell out?

Thanks so much!:)

The general rule of thumb is to book earlier for the lowest rates. If the rate goes down, you can call DCL and have your fare adjusted to the lower rate. If a special is offered, you may be able to apply it or as long as you aren't within the penalty period you can cancel and re-book if that's what's required. Most of the *GT rates are offered after the PIF date so you would need to weigh your desire to cruise on that date with your tolerance to wait for a deal that may not materialize, with the chance rates are higher. Yes, I would agree that is likely somewhat "off-season" in early November. If current rates are something you are comfortable with - I'd book now and keep watching. But I'm not much of a gambler.

Enjoy your cruise!
