Is there tennis close by with a pro? I don't play but DH is a tennis nut.

Not sure about Vero beach but definitely at Hilton Head. They host some of the largest tennis events in the county at Sea Pines Resort on the Island.

There are tennis courts at VB. I did not go look at them but I do remember reading on their activities sheet a listing for play against the Pro and/or lessons.
