To those there now, what are the pool rules?

Are masks required on the pool deck? Is there a reservation system? Are slides open? Are there still children's life vests? How are they handling capacity? I'm sure capacity is very low right now with parks closed but I am looking for insight. Thanks!

Hear with the Ears was live at BWV and BCV yesterday. No masks needed at the pool area. Pool bar was open for food & drinks. Towels were available, as were children’s life vests at the BWV pool. The slide was open and life guards were on duty. Some chairs had been removed from the pool deck and the remaining ones had been spaced farther apart. They were told all the kids splash areas would be open, but all playgrounds would be closed. No reservations needed to enter pool area, just magic band.

So no masks at all? Even when not swimming? I thought I read the only time you could not have a mask on was if you were physically swimming. Thanks!

Thank you! This is exactly the information I was looking for.

I, personally, am glad for this. CDC recommends masks when social distancing is not possible, which I am 100% on board with. But if the lounge chairs are distanced, it is my opinion that there is no need to wear a mask while in a chair outdoors. If you have to wear a mask walking from your chair to the pool, what do you do with it when you get to the water? Leave it on the side of the pool? Hold it in your hand while you swim? Making masks mandatory every moment you aren't submerged in the water is senseless. JMO.
