How were the crowds at the parks? Also interested in how crowded the buses and restaurants were. Thinking about a trip next year between Memorial Day and Gay Days and wondering if it would be better to wait a week? TIA

We were there yesterday, and I was surprised the crowds at MGM, and Epcot were not bad. No fast pass was needed for LMA, 30min stand by line at RNR, and we walked right up to some star wars characters with min. waits. Epcot was a bit more crowded, and might have been worse had a storm not chased away a bunch of people at about 7:00. There were 60min. wait times for TT and soarin'.
2 weeks ago it was much busier.

I just got back and I didn't think crowds were too bad. Mid afternoon on Sun we rode RNR with only a 20 min wait or less although the time stated at the entrance was 50 mins. We only used a fast pass for Soarin' but we walked on MS and TT. At MK we did the EMH at night until 1 am. This was my first time doing it and everyone has always said it was a mad house but we didn't wait more than 5 min for a single ride even BTMR and Splash Mountain. I was expecting it to be much more crowded. Maybe we just hit it right though.

I went to the MK Saturday night after work (Gay day)

Walked on all three mountains, HM, and Small World. Had no problem grabbing a front row seat for Spectro 5 minutes before it started, and got a great spot for Wishes.

I'm sure the day was pretty crowded, but in the evening the park was pretty empty.

The weather can be iffy with the afternoon showers, but thats anytime between June and October.

We were there 5/28-5/31 and I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. The big rides had big lines around 3 or 4 - for example kali river rapids was a 110 min wait around 3pm. Soarin & Test Track were a little long too. We got there when the park opened, rode all the rides with no probs. Got fast passes for the biggies and rode them later on in the day when the stand by lines backed up. All in all I was very surprised at the crowd level. I was expecting a mad house and it was not that way at all. Animal Kingdom was the most crowded for us. MGM least crowded.

These remarks are very good after hearing it was jamin' and you couldn't near the rides or they were a long wait. Glad to hear the wait times are much better.

We were there May 20-31 and the crowds were a non issue, but we arrived about 30 minutes before rope drop (most days) and used our fp wisely. We took afternoon breaks, and used fp from the morning to ride in the evening, and avoided the parks Sat and Sun of Mem Wknd. Going to AK from 5:00-8:00pm was a great move too!

Same here. Crowds were not bad and if you used fastpasses there was not a problem. We also got there at rope drop and walked on to most everything. I agree that AK was the most crowded, went on Tuesday, and MGM the least. Saturday MGM was a breeze. Went to MK on Wednesday and walked on to everything until about 10:30 and then it was no more than a 20 minute wait.
