I'm pretty sure it wasn't a rogue shopping cart. It definately looks like a door hit it. We had 40mph gusts yesterday so I'm thinking a gust of wind caught someone's door and it hit my car hard! What a bummer! Maybe it is time for a new car.

I swear it wasn't me!

But I just want to say kudos to a Giant Eagle employee. I'm five weeks post hip surgery and need to use one crutch (until Thursday -- wahoo!). Anyway, the checker at the Greenfield Giant Eagle came out from behind her register, emptied my cart onto the belt, bagged everything and put it back in the cart! And then, made sure one of the guys came out to the parking lot and put everything in my car.

I definitely called the manager to let him know.

Any chance the note flew off in the 40mph gusts you had yesterday

I hit a car a few months ago during an episode like that. I left a note with my phone number on the car (we waited about 10 minutes to see if the person came out, but had the 2 kids with us and they were hungry and getting cranky so we didn't wait longer). I never got a call about the car, I stuck it under their windshield wipers, but I wonder if the wind took it off (and about an hour later it started pouring so I wonder if the wind took it or the rain ruined what I wrote and the person couldn't read it).
