Okay, I have to ask this. Especially as there is another thread about what things are horrible to say to a pregnant woman. YOU mentioned how big you are. I thought generally it's good to be big, because that means the baby (or babies for twins,) are healthy and growing a nice size inside. But I've also seen posts that if someone else mentions to a pregnant woman how big their belly/baby is, it's offensive. I just don't get it? Don't you want your baby to be big and for people to affirm that it seems to be growing healthy & strong inside?

Different women carry differently. Some look big, some don't. I don't think the size of your belly really indicates whether or not the baby is healthy.

I was huge with ym second PG, and I remember about two months before I was due, my SIL told me, "you are never going to make it to term, you are so huge!" Nice! Give me something else to worry about, since my first was a premie.

I made it to term, BTW so nanny nanny boo boo!

I wa huge with all three of mine. From 5 months on I would "any day now" . I swear every single day someone would comment about how huge I was. My kids were all between 7lbs 1oz & 7lbs 12oz.

I can freely grumble about how I feel bigger than a house but it is rude for someone else to comment that I am bigger than a house. It's all dependent on who says it.
