I wonder what would happen if I got moved. We're at AKL 9-22 to 9-29 and I got the 40% off code when I booked. If they move me, do I lose the code? Do I not get my 40% off.. How is that going to work!

What's this 40% code? Is it a US only thing (I'm in the UK)?

Amusing that our travel agent doesn't know anything about the construction work and suggested that people were making it up!

Yes, we in the US just love to make up stories about resorts having to move people because of construction. For some of us it's a hobby that many of us enjoy taking part in. For others is a staple, similar to taking tea in the UK.

We still have our code. We added 2 nights at AKL because of the code and they are honouring it at the Poly for us!

I also mentioned this mystical 40% code and she denied any knowledge and told me that people often make things up on bulletin boards !

Well in many cases the codes are a bit gray, mine was. I think the code that got me into AKL for the three of us (3 adults) with dining and tickets for $27.00 less total then the same package at CSR lasted a whole 48 hours. As I said we are now staying at the Poly for $163.84 per night for 3 adults including tax.

We are also AKL Refugees changed to the Poly .While we were sure disappointed that we decided to leave the AKL after we got "the call",we are so excited to be staying at the Poly.
