What do you believe?

Why?

Have you ever thought about changing your faith?

Have you ever changed your faith?

What is your opinion on other religions?

EDIT:

Would you marry someone of a different religion?

(I meant to add that, but hit submit too fast)

What do you believe?
Well, by birth I'm part of the Hindu religion..
But, and I feel horrible saying this.. I don't really believe it, at all.

Have you ever thought about changing your faith?
Yes. But, I never will.
I just think I'll end up not believing in anything.

What is your opinion on other religions?
I don't mean to offend anyone at all here..
But, I honestly don't believe in any of them.
Maybe it'd make more sense if you put all their ideas together..
Oh, and.. I'm completely fine with people being different
religions then I do.

I don't know. I believe there's some higher power up there,
But, I don't know what it is, and I think it's best that way.
If we were meant to know, we probably would.

What is my religion?
Christian. Baptist to be exact.

Have I ever thought of changing my faith?
No.

What is my opinion of other religions?
People can believe what they want to believe.

I am a Baptist. I plan on always being a Christian, but I have been raised as a Baptist, in a Baptist church so I will likely remain that.

I'm very open minded to what people think religion wise, I think any religion, or no religion at all is fine, but Christian is what I choose to believe.

From the first year of my life onward, I've been in a Southern Baptist church. We say "Amen!" after every other sentence and we eat a lot. :p

I don't believe in any religion. But I believe in a "higher being" so to speak. Like, I acknowledge the possibility of a god-like being. And technically, that stays in the boundaries of most religions, right? I respect all religions, regardless of how far-fetched they may sound to someone else. Everyone is entitled to their own separate and different opinions. You don't have to believe in theirs, but you should respect their choices and their thoughts.

ETA: Religion isn't a crucial thing for me deciding whether or not I want to marry someone. If you love that person, shouldn't you respect their religion?

Oh gosh, same here. I'm sad now. We don't go to cthe church we did, it got low on money and people came to our door begging. We gave what we could but didn't have a lot then. :( Now the church is HUGE, and they do lots of tacky stuff. We need to find a new Baptist church.

What do you believe?
By Birth I'm a Catholic.

Why?
Like I said, by birth I was born and raised a catholic. I'm not sure why I believe, it's just that I do. I can't explain why, but I do.

Have you ever thought about changing your faith?
Nope!

Have you ever changed your faith?
um,,, nope!

What is your opinion on other religions?
I find other religions quite interesting. About a year ago, I was so involved in learning about other religions, and how they do weddings, etc, that I got to go around the world with my sisters (Their the best!) and experience different cultures. I got to experience weddings. One of the most exciting things is Halloween In Spain.

OT but: Just wanted to share a little about Halloween in Spain. Most schools get out a day early before Halloween because it's a VERY special holiday. Most families are buried in this giant tombs, instead of the gray scary ones you see here, they usually paint them different colors such as orange, or blue (other colors of course) They decorate the tombs on Halloween and make their relatives there favorite food as in honor of them. On Halloween Night, most people spend it with their tomb's (they actually sleep in the grave yard) because they believe that the dead come back to life that night, and they want to spend as much time as possible with them.

One wedding I went to, the Bride is carried in this like bedish thing, that are held by two people. Very interesting.

If you EVER get a chance make sure to try to experience weddings, or holidays in other countries VERY interesting.

Ah. Thank you for making this thread.

I am Catholic.
To be honest I have no reason why. My Dad use to be Mormon when he was kid I don't know why I wasn't raised up as a Mormon. Latley I've been thinking about changing to religion to nothing because I honestly don't know, I just find that it doesn't make scence anymore..

I don't care too much about talking about religion because it think it's all BS. One time my friend told me that 'Christianity' was better than being 'Catholic" that made me really mad so that why whenever I talk about religion things go Blah Blah Blah out of my mouth. I've been thinking about changing my religion because I don't want to belive in anything.

We switched churches close to a year ago. The old one was becoming dead, and it was dieing, so we needed to find a new place. The new church is wonderful, I love the people and the sermons are great.

P.S. Leo, why you steal my KK Slider? ;)

I agree!!

Christian.

Have i ever thought of chaning my faith?
Nope Never

what is my opinion of other religions?
totally agree w/ Captain!

I really really REALLY get mad at people when they talk about religion. FURIOUS. One time at Social Studies we were talking about Judaism(sp?) and all people could talk about was Christianity(sp?) and it was bugging me because we were learning about the religion Jedaism(sp?) NOT Christianity(sp?). I think other people should respect other peoples beliefs.

if you think everyone should respect everyone else's beliefs, why do you get angry when people speak about a particular religion?

Sorry for hi-jacking, but I borrowed it from pokemon_master, who had borrowed from you. You removed it, then he did, then I did. I revived it, then you. We're still waiting for pokemon_master. Remember I "borrowed" it... ;)

What do I believe? I am a Catholic. Always was, always will be. I've had experiences in my life that strengthened my faith.

What is my opinion on other religions? I respect people of other religions, and I'm always willing to learn about them. I realize that we all have free will and can choose our belief, that's what God intended. Because of this, I have absolutely no right to shove my religion down someone else's throat, and I never will. As a Catholic, I believe in God. As a human, I do not believe in ignorance of any kind.

I agree one-hundred percent.

What do you believe? I am a Christian, Baptist (Here is a joke... How many Baptist does it take to screw in a light bulb? 8-one to screw in the light bulb, three to bring the fried chicken, three to bring the sweet tea, and one old lady to tell everyone what to do)

Why? My father is a minister and it was what I was raised to believe in

Have you ever thought about changing your faith? No

Have you ever changed your faith? No

What is your opinion on other religions? I love learning about religions. I am very open minded when it comes to religion. Most religions come back to the same thing more or less. If what you believe in brings you comfort and doesn't hurt anyone, well then by all means don't let me get in your way.

EDIT:

Would you marry someone of a different religion? No it is one of my criteria when looking for a boyfriend.

Sad thing is, that's just like my church. Old Miss Ruth is the head honcho of the "gatherings."

I don't know, I guess it depends if she is open to my religion.
