I'm also looking at Master's programs with a focus in leadership. A few things that I'm taking into consideration: cost per credit; number of credits; traditional semester vs shortened semester; straight through program or one I can step out of if need be; maximum length of time allowed to complete; practicum requirements; GED requirements. I'm also considering how well the program is perceived by current leaders in my area. Maryland is a small state and folks tend to know each other.
I've narrowed my selection down to Drexel Univ on-line and U of Md on-line. The programs are quite different in most of the above aspects. I've got time before I'm ready to commit so I'll keep thinking about it for now. Don't forget to check with your employer as there may schools they are affiliated with. also check for tuition reimbursement.
