Have you tried the slushies at the France wine and champagne kiosk?

When we were there they had 2 flavors Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Lemon Citron, OMG they are sooooooo good. The grand marnier went great with chocolate mousse :thumbsup2

I hope they are still there in December. They are really REALLY good :cloud9:

Ooh I didn't even know these existed! I'm definitely getting one.

How in the world did I miss that? Thanks for the heads up and I will be looking for it in November!

Thanks for the head up, we'll give them a try in March.

They were there as of Saturday.

For anyone dining at Le Cellier, I had the best martini I've ever had: It was an ice wine martini (vodka mixed with Inniskillin ice wine). I had two :thumbsup2 !

Try the schnapps slushies at the new tea stand in China, OMIGOD are they the bomb

They all sound yummy, thanks I will put this on my list of things to try this trip!

Yes! We had a couple on our trip this month ;) Specifically the Grey Goose Citron Slush...

YES. YES. YES. This was the best drink. I've been making them at home since I got back (6 months ago). Ice wine ain't cheap.

Definitely ask for the ice wine martini at Le Cellier. It wasn't on the menu in February. The server suggested it to me.

So does anyone have a recipe? They are yummy! Need to try out our new Margaritaville blender!

Our friends have one of those, awesome.....My buddy bought his off the internet for $300 but he is bummed, Sams club has them now for $250 plus you get a carrying bag he didnt get with his.....
Still they are awesome!!! Have fun with it!!!
We had drinks from it Friday night at their Tiki Bar..good times!!

Does anyone know a place close to property to buy a 5th of Bacardi?? Our last trip DW and I drove around for about 45 minutes trying to find a liquor store, we ended up in Kissimmee.......Maybe close to the DTD hotels??

Also, is the liquor in FL regulated......meaning the same price everywhere you go??? Thanks in advance....

12 days to go!!! woooo hooooo!!

I've already told my DH he would be making me one of these. He likes martinis, but I'm not as much of a fan. I do love Ice Wine though. How do you make them at home? (How much vodka vs. ice wine?) Do you always use Inniskillin IW? I agree it's very expensive. So much so that it seems a shame to mix it with vodka. ;) I wonder how a cheaper label would work. :scratchin Inniskillin is the only winery we've tried. We usually reserve it for special occasions, such as having it with dessert on a cruise though.

Oh my, that sounds good. Flavors??? I hope that I can find a non-schapps slushie that DD can have. Bubble tea isn't an option.

If you are staying at the DTD hotels, follow the road out to 535 (at the "Crossroads" intersectio -- Chevy's is across the road). Turn LEFT. There is an ABC Liquor Store maybe 1/4 of a mile on the right side of the road. Liquor prices arent' regulated in FL and ABC is probably one of the best places to buy your alcohol.

Right, so there's another "Must Try" item to add to my list.
