To Long Beach Airport from GCH

Hi there, I hope someone can help me. We are flying in and out of Long Beach airport this trip. Our flight home is on Friday, June 25th, at 7:35 p.m. and I have a few questions.

1. What time should we leave the GCH to get to the airport on a Friday in rush hour traffic, in a cab, and get through security, etc?

2. Should I reserve a particular cab company that will guarantee a flat rate back to the airport? What flat rate should I look for?

3. Is there a restaurant at LB that we can get dinner at? I know the airport is a small one.

I don't know with rush hour traffic, but the drive is normally 20-30 minutes. Being there 30-45 minutes early is plenty for LGB.

I don't know of any cab company that does a flat rate back to the airport. Everyone we have talked to only has a flat fee from the airport to DL. Maybe someone else has heard of one though.

There is a sit down restaurant in LGB and a few other food places before you check in. after you check in, there are little snack shops that sell chips and stuff and a bar.

No. There is a sandwich counter in the terminal servicing Alaska / Horizon Air, but that's about it.
