Here's my dilemma. My real-world disney account is under account "A", and my DVC account is under account "B". They both have separate logins.

All of my Disney Movies Anywhere, Annual Passes, and vacation plans are managed under account "A". I book all of my DVC reservations under account "B" which only has access to the DVC website.

There are a couple hoops I could jump through to have my DVC account linked to my account "A" and bring my whole world together.

Is there any reason to bother to do this? The only oddity I have found so far is that my DVC affiliation isn't recognized in the system under account "A".

You may not have a choice. Disney IT on their own changed our DVC login info to match our MDE login. We couldn't get into our DVC account until we contacted MS for the magic codes.

Even before MDE , I had some major access issues when I had multiple log ins and passwords. I had to have it fixed by Disney IT 4-5 years ago. I only use one for everything Disney now and it all has worked seamlessly.

We had a Disney Site account long years before we ever became DVC members.

I clung to my separate accounts and log-ins for as long as I could but ran into huge difficulties trying to get FP+ to work in MDE. Basically they told me I HAD to go to 1 log-in to clean it up and access everything.

A sad day when I had to choose which log-in I would keep but have to admit things have worked better since the switch. Still don't like it.......

I personally did as there were indications of problems if they were different using MDE.

I have two seprate logins and have had no issues using any MDE stuff. I am personally wary of asking disney's alleged IT department to link the accounts. I will keep my seprate accounts until I am forced to change.

As Bill indicated, he and others have had issues. In our case we deemed it was especially risky as the sign on for the MDE account was the same as the email on the DVC account.
