We've been planning this for a long time and all the ADR'S are made. Some friends are going to be in the word at the same time and we have a few meals planned with them. They have friends coming as well. Apparently there is still room, if we would like to join the whole clan for Hoop de doo. I just don't know if we would enjoy it? :confused3 I would have to give up 2 of my ADR's and they are going on one of our EP days...is it worth re-arranging everything for? Will we regret NOT going? Ouff :surfweb:

Some people :lovestruc the Hoop de doo. Others think it's too corny and that the food isn't all that great. Depends on your personality. The music is cutesy and corny. If you're more into the sophisticated stuff, then it might not be your thing. If you really want to be part of the group and enjoy being with them regardless of the activity, then join in the fun.

We saw the HDDR several years ago and it was fun, but we're not likely to do it again. Since we took a WDW bus to get there, the ride through the area gave us a chance to see the campground, a section of the WDW we'd never seen before. At the time it was the only 5-star campground in the U.S.

Thanks! With some fancy foot work...I think I can make it work! I read a really nice review on allears, so we may give it a go! :thumbsup2

Its more of a question of what do you want?

If you're bringing in a lot of friends and family for private reminiscing, then
you'll be interrupted by the constant show/music/dancing girls falling in your
lap. If the people don't mind that kind of thing, and don't mind if the spotlight
shines on them unexpectedly, then its a blast. I brought my son and his
new wife in to join us for this show, and they didn't expect to have their
name called out, and where they were from (I didn't either, because it was
our first time too)., but I loved the show. My son didn't like that bit.

The food was plentiful, and good, and served ungraciously, but that's part
of the wild-west feel of the whole experience.

If you want to have fun as a group, Id say GO FOR IT. If this is your only
chance to catch up with friends you havent seen for a while, then you might
be better off making a quiet reservation at a nicer place.

My 2cents
