Just found out that I'm going to be in Anaheim June 10-17. I have really thought about taking a few days to hit DL and CA especially since its the 50th but...
after reading about all the school groups that are there during the day and grad nights I'm not sure now.
I am used to going to WDW in off season and not waiting for lines.
So on one hand I really hate crowds. On the other hand it may be a verrrrry long time before I would get there again.

I don't think this is an awful time to go. Grad Nites simply mean the park closes a little early (9PM) a couple of nights, and so you won't have fireworks every night. Check the schedule on Disneyland.com. There may be more school groups during the day, but that should be more than compensated by the fact that you won't have as many families since most schools in CA don't get out until around the 17th. You may have some lines, but they'll be pretty short in the mornings and at DCA.

We were there last year for Grad nights and only noticed two things that were anoying. First the parking for Downtown disney was blocked off in advance. Second we couldn't find a nice restaurant that didn't have a huge wait anywhere near the park because it was prom night. Neither were huge problems that affected the trip and I certainly wouldn't have avoided Disneyland over them.

We'll be there around the same time (June 14 - 22), so I'm hoping the queues won't be too bad. We've been to WDW at around the same time of year and haven't had too many problems so I'm hoping DL and DCA will be the same.
