To go meals a Table Service Rest's

Can you get a meal to go from a table service Rest., and if so, is there any special procedure to follow... in other words, can I walk up to San Angel in and get a meal to go off the menu?

The above is correct. Disney TS restaurants are generally not set up to accommodate to-go orders.

The only way you can get "to-go" at a TS restaurant at WDW is to be seated and order your food. Then after it arrives tell the server you have to leave and would like a box for it.

thanks for the info : we just have too much to do in our last few days and plenty of Couter Service meals so will skip a few TS meals.... Also our little ones nap is getting later in the day so It would have been nice to bring back to the room, again we have plenty of CS and lots to try at the food court!!

The only places I have seen this done is at some of the resort restaurants. I saw it a few times at the old Concourse Steakhouse at CR, and at the YC. In those cases, they would have a server come up and take the order and then bring it out when it was ready to go. I've never seen it done at a theme park restaurant though, and they may have discontinued the process. The last time I saw it done was about 4 years ago.

I have been wondering the same thing, both for resort and park TS. Seeing as it isn't common to do so in the parks, I would suggest bringing a soft sided cooler bag, a frozen water bottle, and some ziplocks bags/containers for CS/TS leftovers if the weather isn't too hot. Certain things spoil easier than others, so just get whatever is appropriate.

Seems like resort CS/TS, pool bar food, or room service would all be good choices for being able to eat while the kids are napping. Just send one person out to get food while the kids are napping.
