Wanted to grab CHH to take back to the Poly early on evening (its a MNSSHP and we aren't attending) do they have to go boxes at any of the QS

Glad I opened this thread. I thought quick service was more like take out from a fast food restaurant. I'd have been annoyed. Now I know to plan some containers.

Thanks everyone! After 25+ trips I never needed a to go box but I had a feeling it wouldn't be possible... I'll see what I can pack

Well, it is and it isn't. You know how when you say, "to eat here" they put your food on a tray? That's what Disney does too, but it's not wrapped in anyway. It's simply plated. If you have a Long John Silvers or Captain Ds type place, it's like that, but it's like that at every QS place. They just aren't set up to do "to go" orders since they expect you are staying in the park to eat.

Not really but they have given me a bag in most places when I've asked. My kids occasionally fall asleep between ordering and the food arriving. I brought ziploc bags and some foil so I could take a meal from BoG lunch to go and eat it at another location. I'd figure on doing something like that since it takes up like no space in your bags.

They will give you another container to cover the plate or what not. There are no "take out" containers in the parks. Resorts have them. At Poly, we got food a few times and took back to the room.

We took "take-out" back to BW from Epcot on one trip when our kids were asleep in the stroller. We got a plate to cover our food and just carried it back as best we could. Not the easiest thing to do, but it worked.

I was able to get a styrofoam to-go box from Cosmic Rays a few years ago. My son fell asleep at lunch time and I wanted to keep something for him to eat later. YMMV with this one, but it was a simple request they were able to meet.

Not too hard to get a few containers either the throwaway kind or the plastic ones so that's what I'll probably do - throw some in the bottom of the stroller & call it good.
