to fax room request or call CRO?

I'm checking in on Wed 9/29 to POFQ. Should I just call CRO and have them note that I would like building 5 or should I send a fax to POFQ with this request as well as the other info I had noted on my reservation? Thanks

Is the info you requested listed physically on your rez confirmation? I am just looking at mine...and it doesn't even note my #1 request, which was for a no-smoking room. Should I call? Also, I am curious about the faxing. Before my last trip (in 2003) I sent a fax as was recommended on these boards, but I think I heard that faxes weren't accepted by the resorts anymore because CMs were literally getting swamped. Can anybody share current thinking on this? Thanks!
