To DDP or Not to DDP that is the question

We have done it both ways DDP lets you pre pay for what you eat, which is nice. We still end up paying extra for treats we might want, that are not on the DDP. For example, we really like to snack around the MK & especially Epcot. When we have a TS planned, it ends up being too much. So this trip I am thinking of justing paying out of pocket. I'm not 100% on no ddp just b/c we have must do's such as O'hana. So I have to do my math too!:lmao: I know it's annoying but to add it all up IS the best way to find out what your family needs. Another thing is I get sick of eating TS & QS for that matter, by the end of the week. So good luck w/ your planning.

Never have, never will get the DDP. We don't drink sodas, nor do we like desserts with our meals - like them later ;) We like the freedom of eating when and where, what time, etc. We always eat how we want, save our receipts and never, ever get near the cost of the dining plan. So, it depends on the individual family and eating habits. You also have to remember the tips add up very fast when you just order to "get your money's worth"!! We sometimes just want CS all day depending on our mood, so it's not for us. :goodvibes

Just wanted to say I took note of that, b/c you have some nice points. :goodvibes Our family has enjoyed some of the desserts but we remember which ones!! ;) Just never thought of that.
