Hello everyone,

I am new here so forgive me if I have posted this on the wrong board

I am really worried about not being able to squish into the coasters when we go on our trip to WDW in May. I would be so embarrased if an attendant told me that I was too big to ride
I am "generously curvey" and carry most of my weight on my hips and chest. I am pushing 240lb and am 5ft 8" I have been looking forward to this trip forever, but this has got me in a real panic and is putting a real downer on the whole vacation. Can anybody offer any advice other than "starve yourself for 2 months lady" ???

Thanks :)

Relax!! I don't do all of the major coasters, but have done SM, SP, and BTMR. I have never "not fit" on a ride. Disney is very accomidation to "Pooh sized" people. Enjoy your trip!

No Problems! I am alot more "curvier" and have fit on all the WDW rides save Astro Orbiter which I'm too afraid to try.

I have even fit in the Islands of Adventure rides at Universal.

NO FEARS!!!! Go and have just a wonderful trip! Ely

Im 6'3 240 and I could squeeze into everything

You won't have ANY problems. Go & Enjoy. Check out the allearsnet.com section titled At Large. Lots of GREAT information.

I am from the sound of it shaped just like U I also have an abundunt front and bottom at #260 5'8" no problem with the rides. I am just to afraid to go on them more than once. Last Oct. I tried them with the anti motion pills and it didnt work :rotfl2:

Go have fun and ride at least one for me. :wizard:

I even fit on Pooh ride and size was fine just I got sick :lmao:

Thanks everyone, I feel a lot better now :thumbsup2

Ooopps made a mistake in my calculations trying to convert UK stones into USA lbs and It actually works out I am 282lbs. I more concerned about seatbelt type rides and the overhead shoulder restraints as am quite big up top. From the info I have read it seems that WDW should be OK, but I may have some problems with Universal, especially Hulk Mummy and Duelling Dragons. Ohhh well fingers crossed I manage to squeeze in and it doesnt ruin my holiday :sunny:

FYI Hulk has a "tester" chair out in front of the ride. Unfortunatly it is right in front of the line- so everyone will see you testing unless you go first thing in the AM. That is the one ride that I think you may have a tight fit problem with. But you should be ok on Disney rides- the only one that I can think of with the over the head shoulder guard thing is Rocknroll rollercoaster. I saw some very large guys getting in no problem.

That will answer all your WDW size questions- and even give you some photos of the ride seats so you know what you are getting into! Have a great time and enjoy yourself!

My son was (he is thinner now) 6'4", and 290 pounds, and he rode everything in Disney and Universal.
