To autograph or not??

My dd is 2.5, knows all the characters and is excited to see them. I was thinking of ordering a cute autograph book set from ebay. For those who went when their kids were this age, did they want the autographs or not?

My dd was 2.5 on her first trip and she certainly did want autographs! I don't think she understood exactly what they were but she saw all the "big kids" getting autographs so she had to too When we got home we'd "read" the book and talk about our trip.

DD was 2.5 on our last trip (Feb.)...she seemd to enjoy getting the autographs. Some of the autographs are very pretty. JoJo even wrote "For Lily".

It depends on the child. One of my two was scared of the characters.

Thanks for the responses! I think we will go ahead and get it. If she doesn't use it, we can save it for the next trip. I am starting to put a goodie bag of stuff to give to her when we go. So far I have a fan, one of those things that spin and light up, glow sticks, balls for pool, this.

When do you think I should give it all to her? Can you take glowstick thru security? Didn't know if they consider those liquid?

Our son was that age and absolutely loved getting the autographs - until about the last day or two. By that time he was tired, wore out, and the autographs were of no interest to him.

BTW - don't forget that when you ride the Monorail you can ask to ride up front with the driver. The CM's will check to see if there is an open spot, and if there is you can ride up front. The driver of the Monorail also signed our son's book, along with a really neat drawing of the monorail train. It was a pretty cool addition to the book, even if he was not a Disney character.
