To And From Port?

Hi all,
We are first time cruisers. Going on the Dream in early November.
We have chosen to take advantage of Disney transportation from our resort to port and then back to the resort after the cruise.

Here is my question:
Once it's over, I know I will want to get back to POR as quickly as possible. How does Disney handle the buses?
They assign times when the buses pick us up at the resort, will there be a set time for the trip back as well?

While there is one pickup time from each WDW resort for transport to the port, there may be several buses going back to the same resort from the port.

The buses are lined up when the ship is cleared for debarkment. After you've gone through customs/immigration, you head for the bus loading zone. A CM there will check your KTTW card (confirming you have transfers booked) and will look on the list to tell you where "your" bus is. Each bus may stop at up to 3 resorts dropping people off. Once the bus is full it will depart. It's possible to be at your resort by as early as 9:30, if you get off the ship immediately upon clearance.

The buses continue to run to the various resorts until everyone requiring the transportation has been sent on their way.
