I've seen a lot of new names on the boards and I wanted to say "Hi". I feel like Miss Betty from Romper Room, looking through her magic mirror. "I see, Minnesota, and Sue, and Susan and Ray, and Karen, and Sandie, and . . . " I know that there have been more!

Anyway, know that you are welcome, and needed. Your member clippies are looking good, but before you know it, you'll have to give them back-for something better! So glad to have you here at the party!

Hello! :) I post here but I never got the clippie thingie. Is there something special you have to do to get one? I am not on any particular plan but I am trying to eat healthy and exercise (curves & walking) to get in better shape.

Jill, those are the things that I'm doing, too. That's what I like about this board. Oodles of support, no matter what "plan" you are (or are not) doing.

To get your member clippie, and read the "rules" ;) click here . I journal at Fitday , and that helps keep both the food and exercise in perspective.

Thank you for the welcome and the support everyone. I've started my third day on the Adkin's diet and I am very grumpy. I didn't really know I was grumpy until alot of friends were asking why I was growling and acting grumpy. My coffee cups kept disappearing, too. I don't think I really growled, but they said I was sighing alot with my mouth closed that sounded lke I was grumpy.

After I told everyone that I just started my diet, they asked me if I wanted to go home early since we were overstaffed after midnight. I said sure.

But I have stayed true to the diet.

Yes I am grumpy.

But you guys are making it so much easier. If you hear me growling, just ignore me.

Did I mention that we had two huge dinner, grazing food parties the past three nights at work.

Carb's, sugar, cakes, cookies, brownies, lasangna, bread, rolls, biscuits, pasta, pizza, chicken, desserts, ice cream, food, food, and more food everywhere. It was Nurse's week, and we had a shower food thingie night for the very sweet and very pregnant nurse's Beverly, Wy, and Nora.

Everytime I went to the breakroom to get coffee or water guess what I saw?

Yes, I'm grumpy and tired and very unsocialable. If I make it through this Saturday on this diet, I hope to be a very nice person because I owe a lot of friends an apology for growling at them.

Goodnight everyone...or for you normal guys, good morning. My weekend has just started and your workweek has just started. I'm off to sleep.

Ray, you can do it! Even if you have to post every day (or more than that) about how grumpy you feel at the moment!! :) I know you are a teddy bear at heart, so this will pass!

Ray, you will be back to your regular sweet self very soon and the "grumpy grouchies" will be vanquished.

I could tell from your first post on the WISH challenge that you were going through carbohydrate withdrawal, LOL, you never just have one or two sentence replies ;)

Hope today is much better, it is day 5 and it should be much easier by now.

We seem to get new WISHers everyday, I just want to bump this up so that they can enjoy your wonderful welcome, Debbie :)
