I heard an interesting story about the status of Roy Disney around which your kids are posed. It seems that when the statue was first installed, it was behind a low fence. People would climb over the fence to get their picture taken with Walt's brother. Disney maintenance was concerned and decided to build a higher fence to keep people off of the statue. When Roy Jr. heard that maintenance was going to "fix the problem with the fence" he contacted them and told them how great it was that they were going to REMOVE the fence. He said that his father was a really shy person in life, but that he was certain that his dad was smiling seeing all the people who wanted to take their picture with his statue. Needless to say, Disney maintenance went ahead with their plans. Sort of. Instead of installing a higher fence, they moved the bench and statue in front of the low fence to make it easier for people to get to the bench.
