To all going to WDW in December

I see that a few of us, from these boards and other Disney related sites in the UK, are going to be on holiday/vacation in WDW and Orlando in December this year and therefore quite a lot of opportunities for us to meet up, if you fancy it?

I seem to have a lot of time on my hands and, because I like to keep busy , I am keen to organize a couple of events where we can all meet up – a bit like a downscale version of last year’s DISCon.

Please can you let me know if you are interested in taking part in such a “BRITCon” and perhaps if you have any other suggestions to add to this list below by all means let me know.


IDEAS for meets

Buffet Character Meal either in a Park or Resort
Mickey’s Very Merry Xmas Party
An evening at Disney Quest
World Showcase Tour
Hidden Mickey Scavenger Hunt

Obviously for some of the meets – Park admission and or tickets would need to be purchased by yourselves. It is not my intention to organize any events that need prior payment.

In order to co-ordinate this I need to know the dates that "parties" are going and ages of kids so that I can give firmer plans and ideas, so to start the ball rolling:

I will be there 28th November to 30th December sadly no kids but I'm very child friendly

DH and I will arrive on Dec. 22 and depart on Jan 4.
My DB and SIL and their DD (Meghan will be 8) and DS (Sean will be 5) arrive on maybe Dec. 25 or 26 and stay until Jan. 2 or so.

This will be their very first WDW trip (they live in California), so they're really excited.
Of course, they don't know anything about the boards or serious research, so we're doing just about all of the planning.

Just so everyone knows I'm busy getting everything ready for my May trip but as soon as I get back I'll be sending out emails to all those that showed an interest on the dates and plans for BRITCon.
