I am asking all DISigners to take over my threads for a while. I create the stick figures and letters and need to concentrate on my son at the moment. They are all in my photobucket account.

My 2 year old has had 3 bouts of pneumonia in the past 3 months and they cant seem to figure out why. This past episode was really scary and he was on a respirator cause he couldnt breathe on his own. Thankfully god answered my prayers and he is home recovering but we are still not out of the woods just yet. They are running numerous tests and want to make sure that its not something more serious like cancer or pulmonary fibrosis. I ask you all to pray for my baby if you can and i will pop in every once in a while to keep you updated.

My son has respirtory issues as well and I know how scary that is. We were very nervous when he contracted H1N1 this past October. I will keep him in our prayers as he heals.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. So far so good, he is getting stronger every day and no signs of pulmonary fibrosis, just have to wait for the blood tests to rule out cancer, next step is a dye test to make sure there are no tumors or masses. if thats all clear then he will have to undergo a lung biopsy to see what bacteria is present. (since 2 yr old dont know how to as we say hack it up) to see exactly what we are up against since every single antibiotic has not helped eliminate the cause.
Hug your babies tight tonight and may you all have a blessed New Year.

I am so thankful for all the blessings and prayers from each and everyone of you..... The results are back and its NOT cancer. He just has a weakened immune system from all the strains of viruses he has recently gotten which is why he continuously gets sick. So i have to keep him away from all little kiddies for 2 weeks until he is 100% better. This in itself will be the biggest challenge. Its not easy quarantining a 2 year old but i will conquer and my baby will be up and running in no time.
Thanks for all the help on my threads which probably didnt require much lol. I will upload the blanks of my character letters for everyone to customize themselves. Soooo glad to be back.

As I have read in the above messages, I too will keep your little one in my prayers. God knows what you all need and He will be there for you in this tough time. Little ones have great resistance and I know he will get well soon. And, yes, please keep us posted... Oops, I didn't read all the way thru, but, he remains in my prayers for continued recovery...Amen, God heard your prayers...

I am so excited to hear the good news about your son. I am late in finding this but am glad to hear such wonderful news. Our little man and our daughter have breathing treatments daily and our little guy ended up in Children's Mercy w/pneumonia so I know how scary that is. Good luck with keeping him contained and we will continue to keep your family in our prayers!
