To all coffee connoisseurs

I've always wanted to try this. It's actually available in AK? How much was it?

I can not remember exactly yet I would say around three dollars. It really was a wonderful cup of coffee!

Is there anywhere at the Contemporary resort that sells real coffee? Leaving in 17 days... Can pack a coffee maker - just need to know for sure!

:confused3 :surfweb: :scared:

The deluxe resorts (not sure of the others) all have coffee makers in the room. Just pack your coffee grounds and the small 4 cup filters (basket style filters)
Much easier to pack than a coffee pot, which can get broke in the luggage.

I know I am picky about my coffee, I plan ahead... that way my morning is nice and magical too :cheer2:
Its not that much of a pain and no big deal for me to throw a bag of coffee and some filters in my luggage ... I have seen several packing list for WDW that are 50 pages long :rotfl: :rotfl: I will forego the needle and thread along with the umbrellas and rain shoes and in its place add my coffee and filters :rotfl:

I do wish WDW had better tasting coffee but since it doesn't ... I just make my own... instead of using the coffee packs in the room, I just pull out my own :goodvibes

We adore the coffee at Kona Cafe. The pressed pot and the mocha lattes are to die for. The coffee at Maya Grill at CSR is also outstanding.

The best coffee is Bad *** Coffee in Orlando. We love the stuff and it's worth bringing a coffee maker with you just to have it in the mornings. We have it shipped to us on occasion. For everyday, Folgers Country Roast is a really good cup of coffee. YMMV

Ohhh!!!! Can you really get Krispy Kremes there?!! I live in England so only get my yearly Krispy Kreme taste on vacation!!! I didn't know they could be bought on-site!!!

Yes you can. There were some people that lamented the day the Boardwalk Bakery stopped making their own doughnuts. However my kids were more than thrilled to be able to get Krispy Kremes (which are not even sold in my state) there.

You do understand that Walt Disney World coffee is gross, right? Some Nescafe concoction brewed using some sort of premade concentrate. Take the suggestions you get here to heart and, if you are a true coffee lover, don't expect a good cup from anywhere except the specialty places that may be mentioned in the responses.

lol love this description. Most of the coffee is filter coffee in the parks and is nescafe. The only places that don't use this are the little coffee stands that use something else equally gross, and a few resturants with nice coffee

I have the same issue but there is a Krispy Kreme now on Oxford Street (Just past the Reagent Street turning walking away from Selfridges towards the Theatre with We Will Rock You in) and there is one at Gatwick airport.

Places last week I found had good coffee...

All of the coffee stands in the showcase. They aren't a part of the dining plan but were yummy!

The stand right at the entrance to AK had yummy coffee

If you request it, Ohana's will bring you a pot of coffee from Kona's for $8 more.
