What is your favorite place to grab a cup of joe in the am? I know I can grab one at our resort, but I'd love to stroll the park with a good cup of coffee. Is there such a thing? How 'bout a place on Main Street before the rope drops?

In my room :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am a coffee snob and love New Orleans chicory coffee. It makes the rest taste like water.... I am bringing my own coffee!

Kona doesn't do a half bad job at coffee.
I am planning on trying the coffee at the french pastry shop this time as I heard it was good.

If you really are picky about your coffe, I suggest bringing a bag of your own for the room.

Many people hate the taste of the coffee at WDW.

The coffee served in the park I feels a little bland but they do do nice cappaccinos at various coffee stations around EPCOT. The coffee in the Main Street Bakery was also a little too bland for me

Love love love the pressed pot coffee from Kona but do not like any coffee from the Kona coffee bar...tastes terrible.

Had great lattes from the coffee stands in Epcot by the entrance to WS and the Ellen Degeneres show

You do understand that Walt Disney World coffee is gross, right? Some Nescafe concoction brewed using some sort of premade concentrate. Take the suggestions you get here to heart and, if you are a true coffee lover, don't expect a good cup from anywhere except the specialty places that may be mentioned in the responses.

Here here !The coffee in the world is vile ,but slightly better than the tea which has a taste I find difficult to describe!
However even strolling the world with a bad cup of coffee seems like Heaven right now.Have fun

There may be more than this, but off the top mf my head - Citrico's, Jiko, Atrist Point, Kona and Spoodles all serve Press Pots with a signature blend made for them by Joffrey's coffee

Flying Fish and California Grill also have their own blend made by Joffrey's, but not served in a press pot. Kona Cafe, in addition to the press-pot, has a house blend that is a Kona-blend.

Sadly, everyone else has Nescafe.

Okay, case settled! I will take my Frenchie and my own!!! Nescafe is the King of GROSS!!!! I would rather puke! Going to Kona is too far, I have kids that want to wake up Tink, so need to be at the parks EARLY :wizard: That said, I'll take my own, and look for my fellow coffee snobs- LOVE you all!

I totally agree. I think it tastes like they strained water through leftover grounds. Ick. I took disposable cups and made myself one to bring in the mornings and no one ever said a thing about it though.

I was just pondering that today.Advil and caffiene headaches may be in my future, i would hope WS or places at DTD have a couple of lovely coffee places, i seem to begetting that POP coffee dishwater flavour in my mouth right :surfweb:  now

The "bird poop" coffee at the Kusafiri Coffee Shop in AK was a wonderful treat! One of the best cups of coffee I have ever had! :thumbsup2

Boardwalk Bakery...coffee and a Krispy Kreme :cloud9:

Ohhh!!!! Can you really get Krispy Kremes there?!! I live in England so only get my yearly Krispy Kreme taste on vacation!!! I didn't know they could be bought on-site!!!

We didn't find any great coffee at the World but we did find some really detestable stuff. We bring our own home-ground Starbucks and make it in our room before we hit the parks. However, this year we'll do the dining plan and have coffee as our included beverage, so we'll have to see which table service restaurant does the best at dessert time. At home we always use a french press and make it fairly strong but then again we love the coffee in europe, so consider the source.

I haven't tried it myself my I have heard that Jiko's has very good coffee, some sort of African blend.

I agree with praline3001...I'll be bringing my own supply of Community Coffee!

Freshly brewed Starbucks from the presspot in my room.

There are only a few spots to get a decent cup as mentioned above, but if you want it before the parks- make your own.

nothing better than CC :rotfl:

I have mine packed already ... just in case I forgot in the rush to leave:rotfl:

I like strong chicory coffee. I don't have many vices but strong coffee is one of them. Disney coffee tastes like water.

I am not saying its BAD but for someone like me who is used to a strong full bodied coffee, it stinks :rotfl:

They have always served NesCafe due to their sponsorship. I'm not sure if they even pay for the coffee. It is the liquid brown crayon concentrate as describe before however it wasn'r always. Prior to 2001 they use a different(read: Better and more expense) type of Nescafe that was really decent. To the point I wouldn't make my VictorAllens that I brought along. I wonder if NesCafe ever reads these board and sees how bad their s coffee gets ripped apart. I know I sure wouldn't want my brand reconized that way.

Maybe we should all send them a letter begging them to start handing out drinkable coffee :rotfl:
