To Airport: Mears or taxi or ???

Hi Y'all!
I need transportation back to Orlando airport from WDW resort (POR); flight leaves at 9:20 a.m.

It's just 2 of us. I was planning on a Mears shuttle, but read how that can be hours earlier than I need, b/c of picking up folks at other resorts.

Any idea how much a cab from POR to airport would run for 2 adults?

You can call Mears and tell them what time you need to be picked up and where your destination is and what time you have to be there. They will send a private car or van to pick you up. They were excellent at getting us to the airport from our Downtown Disney Hotel... It really wan't that much. Otherwise, I can't imagine that a taxi would be any more than Mears...

Thanks TCHoney. I'm wondering if that's part of their standard $17/one way, or if it will be more. I'll call and ask.

Still, if a cab won't be much more, I'd probably prefer that route.

I paid Mears shuttle $28 round trip to and from the resorts in January....They also run regular taxis....
