TO airport hotels....

Can anyone recommend a good one that's not going to cost me my firstborn??

Heading to Orlando From TO airport in October and b/c it's such an early flight (6:30am unsless they change it between now and then)we were going to stay in a hotel and hopefully the hotel will have a shuttle to the airport so we can leave our car there.

to put your head down for the night with a shuttle service then look into Quality Suites.

Free Airport Shuttle-free 15 day park n fly-all within 5 minute of the airport on Dixon road.

Holiday Inn Select (basic)
Marriott (very nice)
Renaissance Toronto Airport (nice).

We'll be staying at the Renaissance this time for our Oct trip-this is the closest to the airport.

I think a previous poster confused the Renaissance with the Sheraton Gateway as the Sheraton is the closest hotel to the Airport (attached to Terminal 3).

As a frequent visitor to Toronto, I rate the Airport Marriott (Corner of Dixon and Carlingview) the best all-around airport hotel (beautifully appointed rooms, great pool, good restaurants/bar, friendly staff, Marriott Reward points etc...). However the $279 Cdn rate is a little daunting if you're not there on business.

The good news is that on Fri/Sat nites, the rate collapses to $119 Cdn...a real steal for the quality experience (buffet breakfast for 2 included for $10 more).

The Wyndham Bristol Place, Sheraton Gateway, and Renaissance are all very good hotels too (but not quite as nice as the Marriott)...all of the others are not as nice and borderline gross.
I would definitely stay clear of strange places like the "Constellation", "International Plaza", and "Venture Inn".

We are in Campbellville, just west of Milton so for any early morning flights out of Lester B we usually stay at an airport hotel. I found Quality Inn to be a great deal because of the parking/shuttle and generally clean place to sleep overnight.If you don't know the airport area it seems a little far way over on Carlson court(I think) but it is really only a five minute shuttle ride and that is only because of traffic! It has been a while for us though as for the past few Florida trips we have gone out of Buffalo. I remember considering the Marriott for our last trip but as was said above, it was pricey.

Actually, I meant of the three I listed the Renaissance is the closest to the airport-If you do park n'fly using a CAA rate almost all the hotels on Dixon are about the same price - $119 + taxes.
