I know that the TNA tapings at Universal are free to go to, but i was wondering if anyone knows if you have to a)order your tickets before hand, b)pick them up on the day, first come, first serve or c)Queue up an hour or show before the doors open to get in?

Thanks

Yeah, you just have to line up maybe an hour early. Guests inside Universal get in first. No tickets.

Hurry and see them while you can. Depending on how the next few weeks go for them, they could be tanking soon.

no matter how bad they are as far in the shows themselves they ahve tv contracts for the next 3 years so they will be around for sometime yet, hopefully in a few months when they have settled down they will actually feature some decent wrestling

The TV contract doesn't matter if there's no show to air. Their move to Monday's looks like a major flop after just one week and going live is much more expensive than taping. I am almost 100% sure that there is no way Spike TV gave them a three year contract.

If you go online to TNAs website you can get VIP seating, you still have to wait, you just have earlier access, you get in a little quicker, we did this last year,we actually did it twice. The first day it went smooth, the second day it was a joke,we were 3rd in line & the line kept getting longer in FRONT of us,complaining, cussing, fussing did no good, the people that work there (staff & security ) know a lot of these people as they apparently are there every taping. It was a damned joke, I will never subject my kids to that BS ever again, our kids wanted to leave because it was at the point of coming to blows.Try sitting out in the wide open sun on the concrete for 2 -2.5 hours & you would be pissed too.Just know what youre getting into before you get into it.
After talking with GS & TNA staff, they offered for us to come back over & even meet some wrestlers but my kids declined, they had had enough & they were 8 & 10 at the time.
Good luck if you go,just watch the show & pay attention to the faces that you see in the crowd at ringside every week, its always the same faces, that tells you something right there.

Again Good Luck

Let me preface this by saying the last time I went to a TNA live event at Universal was for Destination-X 2006 and an Impact taping...But we waited in line from rope drop on for like 10 hours and still almost didn't get in because of fan club members and other VIP....I don't know if that has changed but if it hasn't you should definitley by the VIP tickets because at least you will be bale to get in even if you have bad seats.....I am not sure if they allow people to line up that early in the day anymore?? :confused3

And TNA tanking??? Are you serious?? TNA is just about to take off they have way more overall talent than WWE does if anything people should worry about not being able to get in due to the rise in popularity....

I am going to be staying at Universal in May and I too hope to see a taping...I will definitley look into VIP tickets..... :thumbsup2

Thats what I was thinking-TNA is getting bigger. With Bischoff-Hogan-Mankind,if anything WWE better watch out.I for one have got tired of the Mcmann BS A few years ago,its just the same old story over and over!!

But sadly I don't think it will be free viewing for much longer..

I would like to see TNA succeed as much as anyone, but to say they have more talent or are better than WWE is like saying Universal is going to be bigger than Disney. I love Universal, and it drives me crazy that there are seemingly thousands of Disney podcasts and I can't find one Universal one, but Universal isn't Disney.

I was able to go to TNA's first live taping a while back (as part of the massive VIP line) and it's real fun. The Impact Zone is a fantastic atmosphere to watch wrestling in. I can only imagine how great that place will be if they ever get a decent wrestling show to actually watch. While the talent as a whole isn't at WWE's level, there are certainly some incredible young wrestlers on TNA's roster that if given a chance to shine could turn some heads.

What I never understood is why TNA does such a horrendous job in associating themselves with Universal. I would do everything I could to join the TNA Wrestling brand name with Universal as there is so much opportunity.

I think another person hit on an important point earlier about the SAME people getting in to every single show. That's not a good thing for TNA. All they do is act as chant monkeys who ruin every show with their constant need to be a part of the show and interject themselves. It's a huge turnoff to the general public and even to myself, the specific public.

Amen to the same people getting in to the shows all the time.It happened to my family & I last year.We waited in line last year in the boiling sun, while others apparently were sitting on benches in the shade to just before time to go in.Its a freaking joke, watch the shows & watch the faces, the same faces that were there last year in June are still there at ringside today, they are all buddy buddy with the staff & security at TNA & US.
