Just wondering if anyone has been to the new TLT Dance Party that is part of the Summer Nightastic? Just wondering if this is something my dd 16 and ds 11 would like.

There are live bands playing. Guests dance. When the band takes a break, a dj takes over and CM dancers pull people from the crowd to get people out on the dance floor and keep the fun going. To me, it isn't really a kid thing, but I don't have kids so take that part for what it's worth.

We saw some of it Friday night. Disney seems to be marketing it for tweens and teens, but we saw mostly 20-somethings there - not that younger folk wouldn't have been welcome! We were there early (just after it started at 7:00), so it may have been a different crowd later in the evening. The band we saw (Suburban Legend) was a lot of fun - very clean cut for a rock band, though! And they did a lot of choreography, too.

Is this replacing what used to be called "Club Buzz" in that area of Tomorrowland? I haven't been to DLR since early 2007 but when I went then they had live bands there as "Club Buzz" and it was really fun! Loved the live bands!

Yes; they turned Club Buzz back into what it used to be, Tomorrowland Terrace. The stage that rises out of the ground has been restored to pretty much how it originally looked, and it features bands and the Jedi Training Academy (cute audience participation show for kids).

My 15 year-old was not impressed. He thought the band that was playing Saturday night was nothing but disney . . the music, the dancing, etc. He prefers it the other way, without the constant reminder of coca cola and verizon being the sponser. .

Hmmm...thanks everyone for the input. We'll be there Sunday - Thursday, so I believe it will just be a DJ, no live band (but I couldn't get the schedule to open so please correct me if I'm wrong). We'll probably go by and check it out and let the kids decide if they are interested.

Only 6 more days! I'm so excited, but a little stressed out!!!:scared1:
