TL and BB: Beachcomber Shack and Polar Patio Locations

Hi,
For the beachcomber shacks and polar patios at TL and BB, respectively, where are they located (close to what / are they conveniently located)? I read somewhere that at least TL has two locations, so am wondering, if there are multiple locations at either park, what are the pros and cons of each.

We had a beachcomber shack on the right side of the wave pool. It was a good location close to food and bathrooms. Nice and shady. We were not allowed to request an area. I originally would have preferred the other location but it worked out ok. Look at the map, the beachcomber sections are marked.

I really like our beachcomber shack by the wave pool at TL. At BB we had a polar patio right on a main path on the way to the chairlift and I really didn't like it as much. Little shade and no privacy.

TL pretty much has two locations... by the wave pool (#'s 7-12) and then across the park by the lazy river (#'s 1-6). BB's are a little more spread out. They are sort of along the lazy river (with some also being very close to the kids area). We did them at both parks and now can't imagine not getting one!

You can't reserve a specific one, but you can make a request and they will put it on the reservation. We've always gotten what we asked for.

I completely agree. We have had a beachcomber shack several times at TL. We thought the locations were excellent. This year we went to BB for the first time. We knew we weren't going to stay all day so reserved the chairs instead of the polar patios. Our location for the chairs was amazing,, we were on a little "island" with a tree that was next to the wave pool. We noticed the patios were right on the "main" walkway. I didn't think that the locations were that great.
