I got kicked off a golf course once. Apparently, my GF and I were too chatty and the other players asked us to leave. I thought golf was a social sport! But my outfit looked really cute.

We ended up going to the driving range and hitting balls instead. Seemed appropriate somehow.

DH, DS12 and I just played 9 holes of Wii Golf. There is no way I could ever play for real. You'd find my clubs in the trees and in the lakes and in the bushes or just flung really, really far away.

I've tried playing golf..I can't even fling the clubs that far.

It counts! I'm wearing polka dots right now (my unmentionables are red). Polka dots represent money, so wearing it either today or tomorrow is for good finances in the new year.

We don't have Wii Golf but I have actually eagled a hole on PS2 Disney golf. Doesn't happen very often. I imagine my real life gold would sound about like yours Pikester or maybe even get kicked off like Kitty.

My DH told me I talk too much on the course also. You have to remember this was created by men. Men hate to talk.

I didn't know what I have been missing not being on the board when everyone else is. This is fun.

Red is for good luck tomorrow, right? I just might have to dig out my red Kyle Busch sweatshirt for tomorrow. (sorry M&N, I had to get his name in there somewhere before the year ends )

If you don't have polka dots, you can eat 12 round items, like grapes or crackers, representing each of the months. I'm picking out round items from my trail mix at the moment! Its good to start the new year with hopes and dreams....

PIkester, which are you confused about? All these are Chinese superstitions for the new year...wearing polka dots for good fortune in the next year, wearing red the color of celebration and happiness, NOT wearing white coz its the color of mourning and you don't want that, and no cleaning/washing on NYday b/c you'll be washing all your good luck for the new year away!
