M&N, I think you are right about the regular Nationwide drivers. But if the same type of thing happened in Cup, would the punishment be same for a Carl Edwards compared to a AJ Allmendinger? Or even Brad over there?

Some of the cup owners are better off than Nationwide...but I guess most are feeling a financial pinch. Jr isn't going to start a cup team this year. It sounds like they will have to make new Nationwide cars because of design changes there too.

Did you see they (NASCAR) are looking for ways to limit the Cup drivers in the Nationwide races? I do think that something needs to be done.

I agree. I would go to a race even if no cup drivers were in it. It will be interesting to see how the rule is worded. Will it allow some of the more popular drivers race or the owners with the most money still have their cup drivers race?

I really like the first option. That would pretty much prevent a Cup driver from winning the championship too.

I agree...should not be taking the money they need either...stops Nationwide teams from entering and getting sponsors.

I think the 3rd and 4th options are the worse. Most of them don't enter for the money. And it does take money away from the teams that really need it.

And how messed up would the points be if they did 2 different point systems?

Did I tell you I am going to an O's game tomorrow? I know it'll be hot. Our tickets will be in the shade she said. I really do not know any players in the American League but it'll be fun. Baltimore has a nice stadium.

Maybe they will make a chase format and not let the cup drivers in that. You know how everyone (except the fans) love the chase...

The little weather thing on my computer has shown rain for today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Only got a spritz today.

We drive past the Baltimore stadium on the way to FL. And Curt always makes us try to take pictures while he is driving.

Tomorrow, I'm going to clean the bathroom, do the dishes, make dinner, sweep the floor, and vacuum up the dog hair. Wanna trade?

Hello there Faithful Tink! TKer is shorthand for "thread killer". Not that any of us willfully went out and killed thread out on the Dis, but it just seemed that we did and we sought comfort in each other. I guess we should call ourselves "former TKers" since this thread is going strong!

Good Morning!

I don't know much about NASCAR, so I can't really add to that conversation. However, they are planning on building an Indy car track in Austin, so I'm sure I'll start learning about all that.

I didn't paint last night. DH took the night off, too. We didn't do much of anything. We were actually laying in bed talking a little bit and DS thought we were asleep. It was nice to take a night off. I've started couponing and I organized my coupons, too. Can life get more exciting than this?

I actually may coupon today. On Wednesdays, my local paper has additional coupons, and I like to go either Wed or Thurs to the grocery. I need fruit also. Don't let the coupons get the best of you! Just clip what you'll use or else if you think you'd try it. Look for BOGO sales and don't forget to check endcaps for clearance items. I recently found a whole bunch of Pantene shampoos on clearance at Target for a little more than a dollar, but I had a coupon so I got them for 32 cents each! They were being phased out due to a new bottle design....

I'm not being as good as JO and cleaning, although I should. Good luck, girl!

I LOVE pigs...they are so cute. Kitty--I'm surprised you haven't picked up on this! I've always loved pigs. My grandfather ran a farm and had them. I loved going to feed them---they do smell though! The babies are adorable. Cuteness aside I also LOVE bacon, ham, pork bar-b-q, etc! I don't do pickled pigs feet however.
