If we go to the parks during a blockout period for APs but we want to turn our tix into APs, how does that work? Will we still be able to go into the parks?

Yes, you just need to upgrade after the blocked out days are over. If your final day is also a blocked out day, just upgrade as you leave the park on the last day. You must upgrade before the ticket booths close on the last valid day of your ticket.

So basically, use the ticket for all the blocked out days first, then upgrade.

Ok thanks. All the days are blocked out, so we would just do it on the last day I guess. Still debating. We won’t be able to take advantage of discounts for the first trip. Kicking myself for not getting AP last December because we ended up going back twice more and may go again next month

Actually, if the day you are upgrading on is a blackout date, you can upgrade that day and still go into the parks. Blackout dates are ignored on the purchase/upgrade date, but the rest of the days would be blacked out still.

Thanks! So if all 4 days are blackout days, we can upgrade the morning of the 4th day and still get in? That would atleast help us to be able to use the food and shopping discounts on that day and not have to buy maxpass (adding it to ap)
