Tiw ??

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone can confirm the TIW card expires 13 months from when you purchase it or am I going crazy? I swear I read it somewhere some time ago and can't remember. I called the TIW line to ask a CM, but all I keep getting is a voicemail and the automated message states it expires 1 year from date of purchase so I figured I'd ask here .

We're debating on whether or not to get the card with a few pending vacations we have right now throughout the year. I believe the answer to this question is no, but I'll throw it out there anyway. Can I use the TIW on the Fantasmic Package? The only times we've had that package was on the dining plan and we didn't need to worry about price.

One last question I promise. Is it a 20% discount at all participating restaurants for lunch and dinner or is it 10% at lunch and 20% at dinner?

I've read many threads and these are the only questions I have left after reading them and the WDW site. Any help is very much appreciated .

Mine was purchased December 2 and expires January 31 of next year.

No.

20% off the full bill at participating restaurants, including alcoholic beverages. Automatic gratuity of 18%. This goes for all meals at all partiicipating restaurants.

Someone on the DVC board *just* got one, and it expires 1/31. FWIW.




From the wording of that last question, OP, I think you're looking at the page on disneyworld.com? They have VERY confusing info on there, because it's officially an AP discount page, and TIW is ONE of the discount-ish things you can get as an AP holder (or a FL resident, and now, though it's not publicized, as a DVC member (for the same cost as a FL resident)).

Go to the info about it on wdwinfo.com (which is the Dis) or allears.net, and you'll get a better picture of the TIW benefits than on the disneyworld.com page for it.

I got mine Sept 10, 2011 and it expires Oct 31, 2012, so just a little over 13 months for mine.

Just got ours on Jan 16th and doesnt expire until Feb 28 of 2013

I bought mine on Sunday and it expires Feb 28 2013.
