I know this went up to $150.00, is that a DVC discounted price? Is it still 20% off food and alcohol with an 18% gratuity added on?

I'm deciding if this is worth it. If I buy it now for an early December trip, when would it expire? I remember it used to be 13 months. Is that correct?

It expires on the last day of the following month, one year later. So, somewhere between 13 and 14 months depending on when you purchase it.

This assumes the Guest Relations CM knows the proper expiration date protocol. There have been reports the the CM setting the expiration date as 12 months from date of purchase.

I'm pretty sure that expiration date is automatic. Maybe the CM can change it? I've only seen one or two reports of it being issued incorrectly. If there were two reports, they were from the same time/place. I don't think that's a genuine risk.

Remember that a lot of restaurants have a 10% DVC discount. This puts the break-even point a lot higher.

Purchased our latest TIW card at EPCOT on 9/19/15

Just checked the expiration for you. It expires 10/31/16

So, about 13 months.

Is it worth it? - Depends on how much you dine above quick-service - we probably hit a signature 6-8 times a year - so for us it's worth it (not to mention the break on valet parking - man, $25 is STEEP)

We just came back from our third trip using it. This trip alone it saved us over $300 (we enjoy wine with our meals). For us it is definitely worth it.

That's strange on two counts. The expiration should be 11/30, like the person above you how purchased the day before you did. And Kona did add the gratuity for us in September.

No, the gratuity was not on the check when we received it , I looked intentionally. The waitress stated before or meal that it was not included, I told her about the card prior to us placing our meal order. Not sure about the expiration date difference, like others have said depends on the cast member. I'm not too concerned about 2 days.

Strange, because the answer is still No. The BOATHOUSE still has not elected to accept the TiW discount.

I bought my card on November 1st 2015 and it expires December 31st 2016.

I had one restaurant, Paradiso 37, not apply the 18% gratuity. I looked everytime so I could circle the amount before I put 0.00 in the gratuity line.

Boathouse is accepting DVC and AP, not TIW. We ate there last Tuesday and were frankly disappointed in the food; the 10% only took a bit of the sting off.

I purchased on 10/30/15 and mine expires 12/31/16! Don't forget that unless you are a Florida resident, you can't order it ahead of time and have to buy it in person. Figure 13 months from that date ish.
