TIW question

Are we able to share a TIW card for 2 people who are both on our account? Thanks!

I think it is $50 for a second card, but as long as the cardholder is paying for the meal the TIW discount is good for 10 people. So if both of you will be eating all your meals together you will only need one card.

My Mom, brother and I own the DVC account. I bought a card on my trip last summer, and he is traveling with his family this summer....
Same membership, but the TIW has my name on it.

One TIW card is good for up to 10 people IIRC. you don't need a second card. Who ever has the card must be the one to pay for the meal. We did that with our group of 4 last fall. We paid for each meal and settled up at the end of the week.

Yeah, he would need his own card. Some restaurants do not check, but you have to assume that they will.

The TIW card belongs solely to the person who purchased it. It's not in any way related to the DVC membership. The membership simply gives you access to purchase the card. Florida residents are also allowed to purchase the card; so this is kind of like asking if all other Florida residents can use the same card. Nope.

Missed the part that you were not traveling with them. The other repsonses are correct that he will need to buy a TIW if he qualifies.
He must be a DVC, Florida Resident or have an AP to buy the card.
