So, this does not mean that valet parking when I check in at the Poly is free, correct? Even though I will be eating several meals there with my card.

Valet Parking is offered at all of the Disney Deluxe Resorts. There is a $12.00 daily fee for using this service. Valet parking is not free for DVC members.​

Valet Parking is FREE for the following:

Tables in Wonderland cardholders with an Advance Dining Reservation at the resort where they are valet parking
All guests who have a current handicap license plate/tag

Tipping is appropriate and customary for valet parking.​

If they do a great job and don't try to fold the receipt so that I don't notice the tip that I'm already paying, I add another 2-5%.

I always get a pretty substantial discount and I'm only one person, but I go to WDW often. If you're not going to spend enough to break even on the membership, then don't get the membership.

No, it won't be free because you are staying there, plan to eat in the restaurants and have a TIW. To get the TIW free valet, you have to show a receipt from the restaurant with the TIW discount to show you used the card. They will note the time on the receipt. It won't work for leaving the car at the resort for several days.

The discount is definitely one of accumulation. The dining choices are going to dictate the extent of your savings.

Even though we are not planning on a return trip to WDW after this year, I may be getting an AP. One reason is the hope for a room discount and the other is for our dining. DH and I are treating ourselves to an exceptional anniversary dinner, which will pay for the card, plus a bit. Then, our family of five have 3-4 potential $100+ ADRs. My savings will be very nice with TiW.

In case I get them, I've already started to work on DH about letting me have a long weekend to visit a friend, who lives near WDW, for my birthday. I could use a break!
