Hey folks!!! On my last solo trip to the World, I didn't do a dining plan, but have done it a couple of times when taking my daughter and it was a huge help. However, for this trip, I was toying with the idea of getting Tables in Wonderland but do not have any experience with it. Is it worth paying the $100 for 20% off the few ADRs that Ive already booked, or should I go to town and do a dining plan for one?? It would be $293 for the dining plan. Im not a big snacker like my daughter is and since I will be staying at SSR, I thought of just buying stuff for breakfast instead of having to eat out all the time. What do you think?

For solo and a single trip, the dining plan would be your best bet.

To break even on the TIW, you will have to spend $500 in food & beverages. If you plan on going for a few more trips in the year before the card expires, it might work for you.

I have the TIW card, but I am going on my 3rd trip with it, in two weeks. I hit my break even point on my last trip. This trip will be all savings for me. I do like to have many ADRs and do sit down meals, so this was a great option for me.

I tried the DP one trip, and found it more food than I could eat. For me to get my $$ worth on it, I was ordering the most expensive item on the menu!

I went solo last November and didn't do the dining plan since I'm not a big eater (have done it on previous trips with friends and when it was offered free). I was also there during food and wine so I spent most of my mealtimes in Epcot snacking/drinking around the world. I also brought granola bars for breakfasts.
