Tivo Question

My parents are thinking about getting my sister TIVO for Christmas. She is a college student who lives away from home now but will be home for the summer before returning to school in the fall. Can she say set up her service in January when she returns to school then transfer it to my parents house for the summer and then back to school for the fall? Just wondering if that is possible to make sure she gets in her full year service agreement taken care of so as not to get the cancellation charge (assuming they opt for monthly payment instead of lifetime)

As long as you're paying the monthly fee, you can move as often as you wish, AFAIK. You will only run afoul of things if you are taking advantage of the reduced service fee for two subscriptions in the same household. As long as that's the only TiVo on that account, you shouldn't have any trouble.
