Hi,
Just looking for reviews on the Titanic Experience. Would your recommend it?

Thanks

The Titanic Experience (it was located in International Drive) closed about 2 years ago.

This is not correct. They were thrown out of the Mercado location about 2 years ago. They then nearly spent a year at the Orlando Science Centre and as far as I am aware they either have just reopened or are about to reopen north of Sandlake Road where the car museum and the Haunted House attraction was. We went when they were still at the Mercado and loved it. From what I gather they have a lot more room at the new location. This is living history at its best.

I haven't been to the new location but we loved it in the old one so I would highly recommend it.

Here is the link to the new exhibit, now open

Sorry I passed along erroneous information...I remember it closing and never kept track of it from that point. The articles I read at that time indicated it would not relocate.

Great and moving experience for all, especially children. It brings the the tradgedy off the pages of books and really puts a human face on it. You get a card with a on it name when you enter and at the end of the tour you find out if you lived or died that terrible night. There are actual artifacts that were on board the ship and that belonged to real people. I remember that really made it real for my children. Highly recommend it!

We did not see it in Florida, but when it was a traveling exhibit.
I must say, we really enjoyed it. I think we may have to go to it in Florida.
We also got a card that said a name of someone on the ship that night.
My youngest son, unfortunately, had the name of a priest. When he showed it to me I told him, "It was nice knowing you!" He did not understand until we came to the end of the tour.

We visited there a couple of years ago when it was at the Mercado and the whole family loved it. We've seen the traveling exhibit three different times (at science museums & aquariums) and it does not even compare. The Titanic Experience takes hours to tour in detail vs. an interesting walk-thru for the traveling exhibit.

I haven't been to the new location, but may go again soon since our kids are a little older now.

I went in 1995! It was brilliant and I hope to make a visit this year too.
