I searched the boards and coudn't find any other posts about the Titanic Exhibit. Has anyone been there that could tell me about it? We are going to Disney in mid-may and wondered if it would be worth taking a taxi...we are staying on-site! Thanks for your help! :flower:

Hi...we got a good deal at www.ibidusa.com to go. we would not have done it if we paid reg price. It was fun. You are taken on the "cruise" by a "employee" of the Steamship line. You are given a ticket on intering the show and there is a name on it...that is who you are during the doomed voyage.

At the very end of the show, you can find out if you lived or died!

First of all there are NO real relics from the boat. but rather large rooms made up to look like the deck, staircase, the engine room etc and your guide takes you through them...there are lots and lots of great pictures, articles, but NO real artifacts.

We thought it was worth the discounted price. If you are a Titanic fan, I am sure you will find it interesting...

Good Luck..Ted

Thanks for the information! My son is very interested in anything to do with the Titanic, so from your description I think he would really like it! Thanks also for the link! :sunny:

Titantic: The Exhibit is a lot of fun and well worth seeing, if it fits in your budget.

A complete review of the attraction is posted here.

We absolutely loved the titanic exhibit!

Someone said there are no actual "real" relics from the ship... well unless this has changed since we last visited... there are real artifacts from the ship!
Tons of real letters, postcards etc...
There are several display cases with off the top of my head, a lifepreserver, a deck chair, glasses, shoes, watches, dishes etc.. maybe what they meant when they said there were no actual relics, was that there are no "real" pcs of the ship...

here is the website, tons of info there!

there is also a recreation of the grand staircase that is pretty amazing!
There is a huge chunk of ice that you touch etc... to give you an idea of how cold it was that night! The kids thought this was really neat!

You can also get plenty of discounted tickets or coupons to use when you buy your tix from many places online, in all the tourist mags in orlando etc..

This is a DO NOT MISS for anyone interested in the titanic!
