I am most concerned about allowing myself enough time to get to the restaurants and parks. Am i way off on my estimates? Am i too anal retentive? :rolleyes1

Thanks for taking a peek!

It looks good to me! :flower:

I have never traveled from the AK to AKL, so maybe someone can help make sure it only takes 30 minutes....

Also, you didn't say where you were staying, but it looks like you are pretty much giving yourself an hour for travel time to the parks and I think that is about right for getting from any on site resort to a park.

You have also planned on allot of down time at your resort, that is good. Especially if you have young children. If you have teens, they may want to be "on the go" more. If it is just you and your significant other, then it sounds like a very restful vacation!!

You have a good plan going! It looks like you will have allot of fun!!

Your plan looks great! Travel times seem ok, too. We arrive later that week--I wish we would be there then, too!

You show Saturday as AK from 8-10, then a PS at Boma at 10:30 and then back to AK from 11:30-1. That might not work. It's at least 30 min between the park and the Lodge, depending on where you are in the park when you leave and where you are in the parking lot. You're only giving yourself a half-hour for lunch if you're trying to get back into the park by 11:30am. A better plan might be to make a later PS at Boma and stay in the AK until, say, 11am. Eat at Boma at 11:30-ish and then leave right from there to go rest and swim. The back and forth between the Park and the Lodge will eat up a lot of time.

thanks everyone! We do have a 4 year old and an 18 month old(at time of trip), so resting time is very important. Also, we are staying at ASMo.
Wd searcher, thank you, i didn't even realize how close i was cutting it. I asked for the latest ps time and it was 10:30, so i will just have to adjust the rest of the plan. So it does take a while to get to the AKL from AK? I just assumed it was a pretty quick trip.

I looked up the expected travel time from the AK to AKL in the Unofficial Guide and it said to expect 6-23 minutes for the commute.....

Hope that helps!

it does help...i am actually expecting my copy of the UG in the mail today. I think what i will do, is just make a ps for boma at 8:00 and go to the park after that.
