Check out this cool site found in YM magazine:

"AOL has blanketed the planet with a billion of those useless, free CD-ROMs (and floppies before them) since the mid '90's. Go to www.nomoreaolcds.com, where you'll find out how to mail your CDs to two guys in California who are trying to collect 1 million of them. Once they reach their goal, they plan to drive the discs to AOL's corporate headquarters in Virginia to try to get the company to stop their wasteful mass mailings."

Good idea I think. :D

I've always thought that AOL could charge less for their service if they would just stop wasting money sending me 12 cd's a year. I'm not going to ever use their service again, tried it once and it took me 6 months to get them to stop billing me

I think it's a cute idea, wonder how expensive it is to mail those silly cds.

Oh yes! Thanks for the link smiley.:)

AOL must be worth the big bucks and CDs must be really cheap if they can send so many of them to people who don't need them. We've been on cable for a year now and still get them- in the garbage they go.

DW works for a company that sends these out to you. She could tell you what to do with a million of them! Keeps hoping AOL will go out of business.   :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
