I have been to Disneyland many times but this is going to be not only my first time going during a month that is not June-August but also its gonna be my first time going alone :scared1:

I was wondering how crowded is it during March?

Are there any sort of special things you get if you stay at one of the Disney hotels? I've always wanted to stay at one but I'm thinking I probably wont, too pricey and I dont really see the point in spending alot of money on a place I'm only going to be sleeping in.

What is the best way to get around like from the airport to the park/hotel?
I'm planing on flying to John Wayne Airport, do they have some sort of shuttle that goes to the hotels? Or are there buses/metros that go that way?

Any other helpful tips?
thanks

Hi! DBF and I always take the Super Shuttle from SNA to Disneyland. You can make reservations online or by calling them at (800) 258-3826. It's $10 each way plus tip but you can always find coupons for $3 off each way (just google Super Shuttle coupons) and make the reservations online. It takes about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel.

There is also the Disneyland Resort Express Shuttle that takes you from SNA to Disneyland but it is $17 each way.

As for the on-site hotels...I've stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel once. The location was great but definitely way too expensive. If you're just looking for a place to crash, then you might not want to fork out the extra money. There is one good thing about staying on-site though - they will give you a Magic Morning pass which might be useful to you. Of course, you can always get one if you get at least a 3-day hopper.

Hopefully other people will be able to help you out. Have fun planning! :goodvibes

Besides December, March is my favorite time to go to the Park...though it usually closes fairly early, it's never been crowded then! (At least in my experiences...I'm sure there's been exceptions!).

thanks!
what is the magic morning pass?

The Magic Morning (MM) pass allows you to enter DLR one hour prior to the opening time for general admissions on the days that start with a S or T (i.e Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). So let's say it will be open at 8am this Saturday, then you have the option of using your MM pass and entering at 7am instead. Note that not all the rides are open that early but you can still get plenty done.
