Since I been to WDW three times in my life. I remember preparing for my their visit months prior to my third visit on how to get the best character interactions when meeting them. I remember preparing along with thinking of any good questions to ask for some of them. For those who are preparing or just visited WDW. What tips can you give to a Disney fan who are planning in meeting characters for there future visits to get the best interactions with guests.

Here's my example from my recent trip in Spring 2015.

I'm a huge fan of The Aristocats and my favorite Disney character is Marie. I remember asking and telling her some good stuff to her which made her very flattered with me and began flirting with he a few times. Due to being very tongue tied and getting butterflies in my stomach when I was about to meet her. I decided to write a few sweet and touching messages to Marie when I meet her on my final day.

Nice...
My DH always tells Mickey and Donald they need to "put a ring in it" for Minnie and Daisy! I'm pretty gaga over their cute shoes! (It's all about the shoes and bags for us ladies!)
When we met Merida we told her how wonderful it was that she was taking her time finding a beau and that her horse was her bff. She asked us what we thought she should look for in a gentleman suitor! She was a wonderful Merida!
I always tell Cindy she looks a whole lot better than me since we are close to the same age! Lol. (My dad took me to see Cinderella as a wee girl, so we are "close" in age. She always seems to get a kick out of that.
Whenever we meet any of the other princesses DH and I tell them we are royalty visiting from another land. That always sparks a conversation!
Oh, and one time DH asked Donald "why no pants!?!". That was a crack up!
I'm sure others have great stories to share!

Did you meet Pluto or Marie at the Magic Kingdom? Because I think if you ever meet a character the best ideas to getting the most fun interactions with them is if you show them a plush or merchandise featuring them. Try heading to the France Pavilion in Epcot and buy a Marie plush or Marie shirt and meet her at the Magic Kingdom and see what happens.

My son had a big Pluto stuffed animal when we met Pluto and Pluto went bananas - grabbed the stuffed animal and pretended he was running away with it, really hammed it up. It was hysterical and awesome and my son is a Pluto fan for life.

So cute! We met Pluto during breakfast at Ohana, a boy at the table near us had a pluto plush, and Pluto started jumping up and down and clapping. Then he tried to kiss the plush. Didn't work out so well but it really made that kid's day!

My fiancé and I are huge Lilo and Stitch fans. We even love Stitch's great escape, just because it's Stitch! So We made naturally made breakfast reservations at Ohana. We came prepared, we both wore Stitch themed shirts. Stitch absolutely loved us! He gave me a BIG hug, then gave my fiancé a "wet" willie! Lilo paid special attention to me, since my shirt was of her hugging stitch! I can't wait to go see them again next month, when my Lilo and Stitch tattoo is finished! I bet we'll get a good photo! It was nice that the characters spent some quality time with their adult fans, not just the kids. Lilo and Stitch has some of the best life lessons I've seen in any movie, ever. So it was a treat to have it brought to life!

The last time my daughter and I went to Disney, she had picked out a super cute polar bear stuffed animal at one of the shops (I can't remember where) and she insisted on taking it everywhere with her, including meeting princesses. The first princess she met with it was Snow White and they ended up snuggling together on the wishing well

We then came across Aurora and her interaction was even sweeter. She asked what the Polar Bear's name was (Fluffy of course) and even talked to Fluffy the polar bear. My daughter thought it was the best thing ever! She insisted on meeting every princess and introducing them to Fluffy

I have a really cute pair of lilly pulitzer print minnie ears, I got them on etsy, and ALL the characters comment on them! It definitely makes the interactions more fun because they are different than the ears everybody else wears! A simple tip, but it works for me!

While waiting in line, we think of questions about the character's story. They like talking about themselves =). My daughter asked Sleeping beauty what it was like to be asleep for so long. She also asks about their friends- Pascal, Flounder, etc. She asked Alice where the White Rabbit was and they went on a walk to find him. My favorite was calling Buzz Mrs Nesbit.

My 4 year old son was awesome with the characters last month. He was asking questions about their set areas and movies.

In Epcot Aladdin took him and my daughter over to his book shelf and was telling them all about his books. Spent over 5 minutes with him.

He had a stuffed polar bear and Pocahontas was holding it and hugging it. He told her about meeting Darth Vader and was trying to show her how to breathe like him and when she tried he said she wasn't doing it right. Spent over 5 minutes with her.

He was wearing his vader costume when we met Darth Vader. That was funny. He tried to force choke Vader. Didn't work. DH was wearing a Star Wars shirt. Darth Vader said it pleases him.

DS told all the girls how pretty they were. He got 4 kisses (Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas) not counting Daisy and Minnie.

He also talked about their movies/shows. He told Ariel he loved her ride. Talked to Great Goofini about the Barnstormer. Told Belle in Epcot he watched her show at Hollywood Studios. Told Cinderella he wished there was a show about her at Disney World. Lol That was great for getting some interaction.

If you see Stitch again, you should ask him or bring up about his huge crush on Angel. If you don't know Angel, she's basically a female version of Stitch and shows up in the animated series. He ended up developing a huge crush on her.

I remember meeting Pluto, but I never got a chance to ask him a question. I was going to ask him about his crush on a cocker spaniel named Fifi? If you don't know Fifi, she was one of Pluto's first crushes and showed up in the older Mickey and Pluto cartoons. I think I seen Fifi on a shirt featuring Minnie a while ago.

I've had some good interactions with the characters. I get the most out of them when I'm wearing something unique.

Example: When I went to Epcot last year I Disneybounded as Maleficent. When I met Aurora she asked me if I was going to turn into a dragon. The other princesses I met got a kick out of it too, and Tinkerbell even commented that I was dressed like an evil fairy. ;)

I've also bounded as Minnie Mouse, and both Minnie and Mickey got a kick out it. When I wore my birthday button last year I got a lot of attention from characters too. Aladdin and Jasmine are also a lot of fun when together. The first time I met them, Aladdin seemed to know a great deal about the city of Baltimore. I got a kick out of it!

I feel as long as you're open to being silly and having a good time, you really can't go wrong. :)

I have those same ears and I was going to post that I got some good interaction wearing them! Aurora asked my kids if I was going to turn into a dragon, too. LOL

Every time I see Aurora I have a great time talking to her! She is easily one of the best characters to talk too!

I love stitch and angel! I will bring it up when we go back to ohana at the end of this month. Thanks for the great tip!

My DD always gets a lot of attention when she wears her pins, and the character notices they are on a pin. She has so many lanyards we try to wear based on who we might see that day.

If Stitch attempts to take the small stitch plush, tell him that Angel wouldn't approve of that.
